Its about the rising unease and frustration that so many of you are feeling during this holiday season. Will you be able to put your kids through college? Will you be able to afford health care? Will you be able to retire with dignity and security? Will your job or your husbands job or your daughters or son’s job be the next one cut? These are the questions that keep so many Americans awake at night. But it is not the first time these questions have been asked. We have faced difficult times before, times when our economic destiny seemed to be slipping out of our hands. And at each moment, we have risen to meet the challenge, as one people united by a sense of common purpose. And I know that Americans can rise to the moment once again. But we need action and action now. Ghost sounds? Some clips I took of old surgery wing at work.
I work at a hospital that is supposedly haunted. After hearing dozens of older nursing and housekeeping staff tell me their stories of hauntings in the old 2nd floor wing I had to check it out. I went up there at 3 am one night for a solid hour. I recorded an hour of video/audio. Nothing happened that night except once I heard a loud thud which came from the area I had just been standing in. That was it. The old surgery wing is creepy. If you get a guard to go up those wooden stairs and unlock it for you, you can see the old morgue. Around the corner to the right it scared me so bad I nearly ran out of there. I will never go up there…there is seriously something F’ed up about that place…you can feel it in your soul. Anyway I was reviewing the audio with my son and heard what sounded like a child laughing but it also sounds like metal vibrating so i said it was metal vibrating. My son refused to listen to it after he heard it, tho. It really bothered him. A year later I was with a friend and her little girl and we were headed towards medical records. You have to go past that wooden stairway and beside the old surgery ward to get there. Nicoles little girl was freaked out that we were going to actually go UP the stairs and she backed up and was wringing her little hands together and kept saying we couldnt go up there cuz her dead boyfriend was up there. She has no concept of boyfriend/girlfriend…so wtf? She was sure. It was a dead boy and he was “not happy” and she …
