Join The California Army National Guard. Most Guard soldiers serve part time, two days a month and two weeks during the summer. We offer the same jobs, pay, training, uniforms and benefits as the active duty, we just serve part time as reservists. For more info, contact Staff Sergeant Brito at 562.900.0575 or visit www.iguardcalifornia.com **The Evaluation** The primary job of MEPS is to determine whether or not you are qualified to serve in the United States Armed Forces, and — if so, what jobs you may qualify for. The first step in that process, of course, is obviously the ASVAB which determines what jobs you qualify for. MEPS personnel also determine whether you are medically qualified to serve. Additionally, representatives of the service branch you’re joining will be at MEPS to determine your job and security qualifications. While these individuals “work” at the MEPS location, they are not actually part of MEPS. They are actually assigned to the indivdual service recruiting activities. So, while the person giving you your ASVAB Test and medical physical are assigned to MEPS, and work jointly for all the services, the people doing your enlistment contracts, job selections, and security qualifications are not assigned to MEPS, and are representing only their individual services. At most MEPS locations, one of the very first things you’ll do when you arrive in the morning is take a breathalizer test to ensure that you are not currently under the influence of alcohol

The Bobby Fuller Four – I Fought The Law

PLEASE NOTE: I divided my uploads between multiple channels, Bookmark this link in your browser for instant access to an index with links to all of John1948′s oldies classics. LINK: tinyurl.com Robert Gaston “Bobby” Fuller (October 22, 1942 — July 18, 1966) was an American rock singer, songwriter, and guitar player best known for his singles “I Fought the Law” and “Love’s Made a Fool of You,” recorded with his mid-1960s group, the Bobby Fuller Four. Born in Baytown, Texas, Fuller spent most of his youth in El Paso, where he idolized Buddy Holly, a fellow Texan (Holly was a native of Lubbock). He played in clubs and bars, and recorded on independent record labels in Texas, with a constantly changing line-up, during the early 1960s. The only constant band members were Fuller himself (on vocals and guitar), and his younger brother, Randy Fuller (born on January 29, 1944, in Hobbs, New Mexico) on bass. Most of these independent releases (except two songs that were recorded at the studio of Norman Petty in Clovis), and an excursion to Yucca Records, also in New Mexico, were recorded in the Fullers’ own home-cum-studio, with Fuller acting as the producer. He even built a primitive echo chamber in the backyard. The quality of the recordings, using a couple of microphones and a mixing board purchased from a local radio station, was so impressive that he even offered the use of his ‘studio’ to local acts for free so he could hone his production skills. Fuller moved to Los Angeles

The Patriot Act offers a broad definition of terrorism which could subject non-terrorist political groups to surveillance, wiretapping, harassment, and criminal action: •(§802) Allows law enforcement to conduct secret searches, perform roving wiretaps, and gain access to highly personal medical, financial, mental health, and student records. •(§206 and §507) Authorizes law enforcement officials to force librarians and booksellers to hand over book check-out and internet use records. •(§215) Allows FBI agents to investigate citizens for criminal activity without probable cause if they say it is for “intelligence purposes”. •(§218) Allows law enforcement to search

Police Brutality: Cop Shoots Homeowner 6 Times Then Covers Up. 911 CALL

PHOENIX (CN) – A Phoenix police officer shot Tony Arambula six times in the back during a 911 home-invasion call, and the 911 tape recorded the officer’s partner saying, “That’s all right. Don’t worry about it. I got your back. … We clear?” The officers were not aware that the 911 call was still recording as they spoke about covering up the shooting. In their complaint in Maricopa County Court, Anthony and Lesley Arambula say an armed intruder “crashed through the front window” of their home on Sept. 17, 2008 and ran into one of their son’s bedrooms. Anthony, worried about his son who was still in his bedroom, says he “held the intruder calmly at gunpoint” and called 911. Phoenix Police officers already in the neighborhood heard the crash of the Arambulas’ window. When they approached the house, Lesley says, she told Sgt. Sean Coutts that her husband was inside holding the intruder at gunpoint. Lesley says Coutts failed to pass on that information to the two other officers. Inside the house, the Arambulas say, Officer Brian Lilly shot Anthony six times in the back while he was still on the phone with the 911 operator – twice when he was on the ground. The officers ran into the bedroom after Anthony told them, “You just killed … you just killed the homeowner. The bad guy is in there.” The complaint states that Officer Lilly “admitted that it was only after Tony was laying, bullet-ridden, on the ground that he assessed the situation. The 911 tape continued to record

MATHIS: ANTI PROP 215 COMBAT UNIT

Officer Mathis of the Berkeley Police Department tells lies about prop 215 so he can make illegitimate arrests and citations regarding Prop 215. His record on knowing and correctly enforcing the law in regards to prop 215 is in question, and highly suspect. The health and safety code he cites clearly states that medical card holders are exempt from the prohibitions on concentrated forms. Mathis is suggesting that literally every pot club is in violation of the law, but then also suggests that as an officer he is just going to look the other way in regards to the alleged gross, wide-spread pattern of violations. Mathis also regularly suggests that the recommendations are “prescriptions”; however they are not, and as such, recommendations are subject to different legal codes and laws as actual prescriptions. Officer Mathis is actively engaging as a rogue officer to undermine the progressive 215 laws in Berkeley.
